Pneumonia is a breathing condition in which there is lung infection caused by bacteria, a virus or fungi.

  • Bacterial pneumonia : Caused by Streptococcus bacteria.
  • Viral Pneumonia : Viral pneumonia caused by certain influenza viruses.
  • Aspiration Pneumonia : Occurs when you inhale food, drink, vomit or saliva into lungs.
  • Hospital-acquired pneumonia : Weakened immune system that occurs in people 48 hours or more after being hospitalized for another condition
 
  • Bacterial or viral infection.
  • Lungs illness.
  • Low immune system.
  • Infection spreading from person to person.
  • Smoking.
  • Breathing problem.
  • Fever, headache.
  • Loss of appetizer, weakness.
  • Chest pain.
  • Nausea, vomiting.
Food:
  • Take right amount of vitamins and proteins to increase your immune system.
  • Eat food that contains vitamins A,B, C.
  • You can eat Apples, Oranges, Bananas, Tomatoes, Sweet potatoes.
  • You can drink Carrot and spinach juice.
  • Avoid spices, alcohol, tobacco.
  • Ashtadashang Quath, Shringrabhra, Pippali Churna are useful ayurvedic medicines.
  • Chaturbhuja Rasa, Vata Chintamani, Shringabhasma, Kasturibhairava Rasa, Tribhuvanakirti are also beneficial.
      • Ashwagandha, Triphala, Cordomon are effective.
      • Tulsi leaves are very effective herb.
